Pima JTED ASU Prep Digital Expand CTE Access for High School Students in 2025

Edited by: Olga Samsonova

Pima Joint Technical Education District (JTED) and ASU Prep Digital are continuing their partnership in 2025 to broaden educational and career opportunities for high school students in Pima County. This collaboration allows students to enroll in Pima JTED's career and technical education (CTE) programs while earning their high school diploma through ASU Prep Digital's online curriculum.

Students will also receive aligned university credits, tuition-free until high school graduation, providing an ASU transcript as non-degree-seeking students. Pima JTED will provide classroom space for ASU Prep, offering on-site academic support and a flexible learning environment. The site will function as an open lab, providing support for ASU Prep Digital coursework and college courses.

This partnership aims to enhance Pima JTED's offerings by providing ASU Prep Digital students access to JTED's CTE programs. This alliance seeks to create a more personalized and scalable learning experience for students in the Tucson area. The partnership will provide students with new opportunities to prepare for college, careers, and life, equipped with significant CTE skills.
