MI Concept + Design Expands Global Reach with New Creative Hubs in Asia

Design Firm Expands into Asia to Meet Growing Demand

MI Concept + Design, a Toronto-based themed entertainment design firm, is expanding its global presence. The company launched new creative hubs in Singapore and Mumbai, India. This move aims to bolster client support services and capitalize on growing markets.

The expansion follows the successful launch of their first satellite hub in Orlando, Florida, in 2023. These strategic locations will allow MI Concept + Design to provide tailored services with a global perspective. The company seeks to deliver memorable guest experiences rooted in cultural authenticity.

MI Concept + Design also announced the appointment of key leadership. Tom Mackintosh will serve as Senior Art Director & Business Strategist - Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Suraj Kadam will take on the role of Architecture Lead & Business Strategist - India, located in Mumbai.

These appointments will provide clients with direct access to the company's creative talent. Mackintosh and Kadam will oversee staffing and business initiatives in their respective regions. Both previously led creative and architectural projects at MI Concept + Design's Canadian headquarters.

The expansion aligns with the projected growth in the leisure travel market. Reports indicate a significant compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in Asia-Pacific. India's media and entertainment sector is also expected to reach over $100 billion by 2030, establishing it as a global hub for innovation.
