Design Miami is gearing up for its 20th anniversary in 2025 with a series of global events under the banner "Design Miami.In Situ." The initiative aims to connect with the global design community in innovative ways, expanding beyond its traditional fair model.
The anniversary celebrations will include several key events across the globe.
Day of Design in Aspen: This event, in collaboration with Range Rover, is scheduled for July 31, 2025, and will coincide with the Aspen Art Museum's ArtCrush event. It will feature exclusive design experiences curated by Design Miami's Curatorial Director Ashlee Harrison.
Fashion Event during Miami Swim Week: On May 31, 2025, a curated runway show will showcase international labels and emerging designers, celebrating creativity in swim and resort wear.
Design Miami 2025 Fair: The flagship event will take place in Miami from December 2–7, 2025. It will showcase galleries, designers, and brands, highlighting the evolution of collectible design over the past two decades. The fair will also feature talks and special projects.
Design Miami's CEO, Jen Roberts, emphasized the fair's commitment to evolving with the design world. The events are designed to celebrate the past while looking forward to the future of design.
