Muscat - Generative AI (GenAI) is transforming industries globally, particularly in education and the creative sector. A workshop titled GenAI Strategist Masterclass was conducted at the Radisson Blu Hotel, featuring experts Asim Javed and Rashid Smith.
Javed, co-founder of MindPropel, emphasized that Generative AI should enhance, not replace, human educators. He stated, "At MindPropel, we view Generative AI as a powerful tool that enhances, rather than replaces the teacher-student relationship." The technology offers personalized support, adapting educational materials to diverse learners and breaking down language barriers.
In creative fields, Javed sees AI as a collaborator. He noted that tools like DALL-E and FLUX expand artistic possibilities, while platforms like AIVA and Amper Music innovate music composition. He remarked, "AI can't replicate emotional depth or lived experiences, which are intrinsic to human artistic expression."
However, the rise of AI also raises ethical concerns regarding originality and authorship. Javed highlighted the need for transparency in AI-generated content, stating, "It's essential to disclose AI's involvement so audiences can make informed judgments." As GenAI evolves, MindPropel aims to responsibly harness its capabilities to shape the future.
