Bobby Deol opened up about his struggles and transformation in the film industry at the IIFA 2024, where he won the award for Performance in a Negative Role for his role as Abrar Haque in the critically acclaimed film 'Animal.'
During the event, Deol addressed the challenges of changing his image, stating, "It's been happening since before, not just now. It took me a tough time to change my image and finally, I've done characters that are very different." He emphasized that the type of roles an actor receives often reflects their past performances.
Deol acknowledged his difficult journey in Bollywood, asserting that hard work eventually leads to recognition. He remarked, "If actors work hard, they will surely get acknowledgment for their work." His heartfelt acceptance speech moved the audience, as he expressed gratitude for their support, fighting back tears.
