据报道，威尔·罗杰斯牧场别墅、兔子博物馆、帕利塞德剧院、赞恩·格雷庄园等多处历史建筑被大火摧毁。洛杉矶保护协会表示，已有32处重要建筑被大火摧毁。这些建筑因其设施或文化意义而被认为具有历史意义。
此外，洛杉矶联合学区宣布全部学校停课。消防部门向多地居民发布疏散令或疏散警告，约18万人被要求强制撤离，约20万人被要求准备随时撤离。
目前，火灾原因正在调查之中。当地政府和消防部门正全力以赴进行灭火和救援工作。
