On December 10, 2024, the Solana-based NFT marketplace Magic Eden officially launched its ecosystem token, ME. Users can claim ME tokens by linking their cross-chain wallets to the ME Foundation website and completing the claim process via the Magic Eden mobile app. The last day to claim ME tokens is February 1, 2025, after which unclaimed tokens will be redistributed to stakers.
Following its launch on October 30, 2024, ME tokens achieved a market capitalization of $6 million, indicating significant user interest. Tiff Huang, director of the ME Foundation, emphasized that the future of on-chain applications is bright, asserting that they offer the most seamless blockchain experience.
