Dubai Greenlights Elon Musk's Boring Company for 10.6-Mile 'Dubai Loop' Project

Dubai has approved The Boring Company's plan to construct a 10.6-mile (17 km) tunnel system, named the 'Dubai Loop.' The project aims to transport 20,000 people per hour at speeds up to 100 mph (160 kmph). The system, similar to the Vegas Loop, will use Tesla vehicles to carry passengers through underground tunnels. The Boring Company claims the Dubai Loop will significantly reduce travel times between key locations in the city. An intended route has not been announced and there is no indication when work is scheduled to commence.
