The fourth edition of the Zenith Bank Tech Fair, titled "Future Forward 4.0: Embedded Finance, Cybersecurity & Growth Imperatives - The Impact of AI," is scheduled for November 21, 2024, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This year's fair will highlight technological innovations in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, and Cloud Computing. Key activities include a Start-up Pitch Competition named Zecathon, panel discussions, masterclasses, and exhibitions.
Jim Ovia, CFR, Founder and Chairman of Zenith Bank, will deliver opening remarks, while Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON, Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc, will provide a welcome address. Vice President of Nigeria, Sen. Kashim Shettima, and Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu, will also present goodwill messages.
The keynote address, "Banking Transformation in a Digital World," will be presented by Robin Speculand, a noted Strategy & Digital Implementation Specialist. Other speakers include Danillo McGarry from AI & Digital Transformation, Jania Okwechime from Deloitte, and Rupert Nicolay from Microsoft.
The panel discussion will be hosted by Wole Odeyele from Microsoft and will feature six industry leaders, including Ada Jabaru, Funke Opeke, and Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi. Additionally, seven masterclasses will be facilitated by representatives from major tech companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, and Google.
