Intel Unveils New Arc GPUs

Intel is set to launch a new generation of Arc graphics cards, despite current low demand for its existing models.

Currently, the discrete graphics card market is dominated by Nvidia, holding 80% market share, while AMD has 19%. Intel's Arc GPUs capture just 1% of the market.

The upcoming Arc series, codenamed Battlemage, will include three models: BMG-G31, BMG-G21, and the high-end BMG-G10.

The BMG-G10 will feature 56 Xe2 graphics cores and support up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory, aimed at handling demanding gaming applications.

Performance metrics indicate that the new generation could be 1.5 times more powerful than the current models, with a peak output of 67 teraflops under full load.

Speculation suggests a potential launch as early as December.
