Audi Launches New Electric Brand AUDI in China with Unique Designs

Audi has announced a new automotive venture in China, branded as AUDI, in collaboration with SAIC. The new brand will not feature the traditional four-ring logo but will instead use the name AUDI in all caps.

The AUDI E concept leads this initiative, with three production vehicles set to launch mid-next year. These models will coexist with Audi's existing lineup, which retains the historic logo.

While Audi's main brand continues to produce combustion engines until the end of the decade, the new AUDI brand will focus exclusively on electric vehicles. The first offerings will be medium to large-sized models, designed specifically for the Chinese market.

The design of these vehicles aims to cater to Chinese consumer preferences, diverging from traditional Audi aesthetics, and is described as having a 'revolutionary design'. The initial concept resembles a large Sportback, further emphasizing the brand's unique identity in the competitive EV market.
