Turkey's First AI Humanoid Teacher, Ada, Revolutionizes Education

In a groundbreaking development for education in Turkey, the first humanoid artificial intelligence robot, Ada, has begun teaching at the Vip Special Education Course in Balıkesir. Ada Teacher is designed to assist students preparing for university entrance exams, providing lessons and consultancy to parents.

Ada, developed by Akın Robotix, can communicate in five languages and engages with students through gestures and conversational interactions. Murat Erkol, the course founder, emphasized the robot's role in enhancing student motivation and academic performance. He stated, 'We have integrated the Ada-7 robot as an AI teaching assistant into our institution.'

Since its introduction, Ada has become popular among students, who appreciate its interactive teaching style. It assists in various subjects, including literature, and can analyze students' exam statistics to guide parents in addressing academic challenges.

Erkol reassured educators about the future of their profession, saying, 'None of our teachers should have any professional anxiety.' He believes that diligent educators will continue to thrive despite advancements in AI technology.

Students have expressed enthusiasm for Ada's presence in the classroom. One student remarked, 'We love Ada. She participates in our lessons and answers our questions.'

As AI and robotics continue to evolve, Ada's contributions to education may pave the way for similar innovations globally, emphasizing the importance of adaptability in the workforce.
