Severe Storms and Snow Forecasted in Northern Germany, November 18, 2024

Severe weather conditions are expected in Northern Germany as a strong storm system approaches. The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued warnings for significant wind gusts along the North Sea coast, with speeds reaching up to 80 km/h by 8 AM on November 18. This warning remains in effect until noon.

Temperatures across Bremen and Niedersachsen are projected to hover around 7 degrees Celsius at the start of the week. As the day progresses, the storm is expected to gradually subside, though windy conditions will persist, with potential thunderstorms and showers.

On November 19, a new storm front is anticipated to impact the region, bringing further fluctuations in weather patterns. Snow and persistent rain are likely, with maximum temperatures ranging from 3 to 7 degrees in the northern areas, while southern Niedersachsen may see highs of up to 10 degrees.

The unsteady weather continues into Wednesday, with a mixture of rain, snow, and sleet expected. Coastal regions may again experience severe storm conditions.
