Recent efforts to preserve biodiversity have highlighted the importance of flora and fauna across the globe. In Vietnam, the Bio LAK conservation project has made significant strides in recovering traditional plant species. Launched in 2016, the initiative has successfully established a conservation garden filled with indigenous plants known for their unique scents, including perilla and guava. The team aims to integrate these valuable plants into everyday life, emphasizing their medicinal properties.

Bio LAK has also ventured into the cosmetics industry, producing safe, Non-GMO skincare products derived from native flora. Their commitment to sustainability and safety ensures that these products are not only beneficial for consumers but also contribute to the preservation of Vietnam's plant heritage.

Meanwhile, in Trigance, France, a recent biodiversity atlas has revealed the rich ecosystems present in the region. Conducted by the Parc naturel régional du Verdon, the study identified various protected species, including the amphibious vole and the aquatic shrew, thriving near the Jabron River. The findings underscore the delicate balance of the local environment, where alpine and Mediterranean flora coexist.

Both initiatives emphasize the critical role of biodiversity in maintaining ecological health. As climate change poses increasing threats to habitats worldwide, these projects serve as vital reminders of the need for conservation and sustainable practices.
