ENHYPEN: From I-LAND to Global Phenomenon - A Look at Their Record-Breaking Rise

13:19, 04 tháng 2

ENHYPEN, a seven-member K-pop group formed through the survival program I-LAND, has become a global phenomenon, captivating millions of fans worldwide with their innovative sound, positive message, and unique connection with their fan club, ENGENE.

Their debut in 2020 with the mini album "Border: Day One" and the lead single "Given-Taken" marked a significant milestone, reaching the top spot on the Gaon Album Chart. The album sold over 280,000 copies in its first week, solidifying their impact from the start. ENHYPEN's music has evolved over time, encompassing various genres and styles, showcasing their versatility and artistic growth.

Their second mini album, "Border: Carnival" (2021), presented a more mature side with the pop rock track "Drunk-Dazed." The same year, they debuted in Japan with the single "Border: Hakanai," further solidifying their international popularity. ENHYPEN's first studio album, "DIMENSION: DILEMMA," released in 2021, featured the eclectic track "Tamed-Dashed" and achieved a remarkable milestone: one million copies sold within a year. This achievement solidified their status as a force in the music industry.

ENHYPEN continued their international expansion in 2022 with the Japanese single "DIMENSION: Senko" and their impactful comeback with "MANIFESTO: DAY 1." The lead single "Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)" fused the drill genre with empowering lyrics advocating for justice, resonating deeply with their fans. The group's success extends beyond Korea and Japan, reaching the Billboard 200 and garnering international awards, demonstrating their growing global influence.

In 2022, ENHYPEN participated in international campaigns, including one with Coca-Cola, showcasing their cultural impact. Their first world tour, "Manifesto," brought their energy and music to fans worldwide, starting with an impressive show in Seoul in 2022 and continuing with dates in the United States and Japan. The tour served as a testament to their increasing popularity and ability to fill international stadiums.

ENHYPEN's fourth mini album, "DARK BLOOD" (2023), featured the minimalist pop track "Bite Me," further showcasing their musical versatility. They also participated in unique projects, including a collaboration with Pokémon for Pokémon Music Collective with the song "One and Only" and the film Baby Shark's Big Movie. "Orange Blood" (2023) marked another successful chapter in their discography, with a renewed sound and a more mature style.

ENHYPEN's journey is far from over. In 2024, they released "Romance: Untold," an album that topped charts in Korea, Japan, and France, and reached number 2 on the Billboard 200. The album features tracks like "XO (Only If You Say Yes)" and "No Doubt," exploring the complex emotions of relationships.

ENHYPEN is confirmed to perform at Coachella 2025, one of the world's largest music festivals. Their appearance in April will solidify their global influence and demonstrate their readiness to conquer the world. Join the incredible adventure of ENHYPEN and discover the talents of each member:
