A rare 1995 Ferrari F512M, one of only 501 ever produced, is set to be auctioned today in Arizona by RM Sotheby's. This model, the final evolution of the iconic Testarossa series, has garnered significant attention from collectors.
The F512M features a powerful 5-liter V12 engine, upgraded to deliver 440 horsepower, surpassing its predecessor, the 512 TR, by 12 horsepower. Its design updates include fixed headlights, NACA air intakes reminiscent of the F40, and a new bumper style, giving it a distinct look compared to earlier models.
While the F512M's aesthetic changes have drawn mixed reviews, it remains a captivating vehicle. The interior retains the classic Ferrari style, with minor updates to the steering wheel and gear lever. This particular car, sold new through Shelton Sports Cars in Fort Lauderdale, boasts a striking red exterior paired with a beige interior.
Currently owned by a collector who acquired it in 2018, the car has undergone extensive servicing, completed in December 2024, ensuring its pristine condition. With only 22,000 miles on the odometer, its low mileage adds to its appeal, positioning it within a valuation range of €410,000 to €485,000 at auction.
