Following last week's rainfall and temperature drop, weather conditions improved over the weekend, particularly on Sunday, with temperatures exceeding 20 degrees Celsius in many areas of the region. This trend continued into Monday, presenting nearly spring-like weather.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), forecasts for Tuesday indicate cloudy skies with a chance of light, scattered precipitation primarily in the northern and mountainous areas. Morning fog and mist are also expected.
Temperatures are projected to rise, ranging from 8 degrees in Burgos to 11 degrees in Valladolid, Zamora, and Salamanca. Maximum temperatures are expected to decrease slightly, especially in the north, with Burgos recording the lowest maximum at 16 degrees. However, Valladolid, Segovia, Salamanca, and Zamora will exceed 20 degrees once again.
Winds will be light, blowing from the northeast. A stable weather pattern without precipitation and abundant sunshine will prevail in Castilla y León at least until Thursday, as reported by Aemet, which also notes that morning fog will occur early on.
Rainfall is anticipated on Friday, but the weekend is likely to see a return of sunny conditions without precipitation, although temperatures will drop significantly, with frost expected in higher and mountainous areas.
