Leapmotor Launches B10 Crossover in Europe

Leapmotor, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has introduced its first crossover model, the B10, to the European market as part of its global growth strategy.

The B10 enters a competitive segment alongside models like the Renault 4, Jeep Avenger, and Mini Aceman.

Built on Leapmotor's Leap 3.5 architecture, the B10 features advanced technology, including numerous active safety systems, a customizable driver display, and smart driving capabilities.

While battery and power specifications are not yet officially disclosed, the B10 is expected to mirror the features of its larger sibling, the C10, which boasts a rear-mounted electric motor with 215 horsepower and a 69.9 kWh battery, providing a range of 422 kilometers.

Leapmotor emphasizes that the B10 is the first model in its B-Series, specifically designed for global markets. CEO Zhu Jiangming stated that the B10 embodies their vision of making an electric future accessible to consumers worldwide.

Currently, Leapmotor sells the C10 SUV, the larger C16 SUV, and the T03 city car in Europe. The C10 and T03 are priced from £36,500 and £15,995 in the UK, respectively, with the T03 being one of the most affordable electric cars available.

The B10 is expected to enter the UK market next year, with a projected starting price below £30,000, aiming to reach a broader audience with its competitive pricing.
