OpenAI has successfully completed a funding round of $6.6 billion, aimed at enhancing its computing capabilities to train new artificial intelligence models.
The round was led by Thrive Capital, which is investing $1 billion, alongside participation from other technology companies, including Microsoft and NVIDIA.
OpenAI, known for its ChatGPT platform, serves over 250 million weekly users and has reached a valuation of $157 billion.
