LONDON--NTT DATA, a global leader in digital business and IT services, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Niveus Solutions, a cloud engineering company specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. This acquisition aims to expand NTT DATA's cloud capabilities and solidify its position as a leading system integrator for Google Cloud.
Upon closing, Niveus Solutions will contribute 1,000 GCP engineering professionals to NTT DATA’s Google Cloud Business Unit, enhancing its expertise in GCP native modernization, data engineering, and AI.
Niveus Solutions has a strong track record in sectors including financial services, manufacturing, automotive, retail, and logistics, supporting NTT DATA in delivering specialized industry cloud solutions.
Charlie Li, Head of Cloud and Security Services at NTT DATA, stated that the acquisition will position the company as a major player in the Google Cloud ecosystem, enabling clients to accelerate digital transformations.
The acquisition builds on NTT DATA's strategic partnership with Google Cloud, which focuses on co-developing data analytics and GenAI solutions for enterprise clients. This partnership aims to provide tailored cloud-based solutions to meet industry-specific needs.
Niveus Solutions has received accolades including the 2024 Google Cloud 'Breakthrough Partner of the Year - Asia Pacific' and 'India Partner of the Year'.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to finalize within the next 30-60 days.
