Lexus has officially revealed the eighth-generation ES model, featuring fully electric variants alongside updated hybrid options. The new ES, which debuted in Shanghai in April 2025, is expected to arrive in European showrooms by Spring 2026.
Embracing the "Clean Tech x Elegance" design philosophy, the ES showcases a sleek exterior with updated L-shaped lights and a seamless rear light bar. The interior boasts a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14-inch LexusConnect multimedia system.
Powertrain options include the ES 300h gasoline hybrid with a 2.5-liter engine producing 201 hp, available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The fully electric versions, ES 350e (224 hp, front-wheel drive) and ES 500e (343 hp, all-wheel drive with DIRECT4), offer battery capacities ranging from 75-77 kWh, providing a range of approximately 530 km with fast charging to 80% in about 30 minutes.
