The first wave of performers for the large-scale music special "THE MUSIC DAY 2025" on Nippon TV has been announced. The show is scheduled for July 15th.
J-HOPE from BTS, a three-time Grammy nominee, will make his first performance on Nippon TV. RIP SLYME, which has been a hot topic for its limited-time revival with the original five members for a year, will also perform for the first time.
King & Prince, whose new song debuted at number one on the Billboard JAPAN HOT 100 chart, will be performing. SixTONES, who started the variety show "Golden SixTONES" in April, will also be present. The new school leaders, who have over 15 million SNS followers and performed at Coachella 2024, will be there as well.
HANA, born from the audition program "No No Girls THE FINAL," which attracted attention with the world trend of number one and over 560,000 concurrent viewers, will also make her first performance on "THE MUSIC DAY." Other performers include Perfume, WEST., Snow Man, Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS, NiziU, INI, ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and ILLIT.
The second wave of performers will be announced on the 14th.
