Pulp is releasing their new album, 'More,' on June 6, 2025, via Rough Trade Records, marking their first album in nearly 24 years since 2001's 'We Love Life.' The album's lead single is 'Spike Island.' 'More' was produced by James Ford and recorded and mixed at Orbb Studio in Walthamstow, London, starting on November 18th, 2024, taking three weeks, the shortest recording period for any Pulp album. The album features backing vocals by the Eno family, with string arrangements by Richard Jones and performed by the Elysian Collective. Richard Hawley and Jason Buckle each contributed music to a song. The album is dedicated to the band's late former bassist, Steve Mackey, who passed away in 2023. According to Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, the songs on 'More' were developed during soundchecks and recording sessions in 2023 and early 2024. Cocker noted that no AI was used in the album's creation. The album includes 11 tracks, including 'Spike Island,' 'Tina,' and 'Hymn Of The North.'
