Italian rapper Tony Effe has reignited the feud with Fedez, addressing their past diss track exchange and rumors linking him to Chiara Ferragni in his new book, "Non volevo ma lo sono" (I Didn't Want To, But I Am). The book, released on May 27th, chronicles his artistic and personal journey.
Effe claims the conflict originated from Fedez's desire to capitalize on his rising popularity. He also addressed the gossip surrounding Ferragni, stating, "We had a good relationship with her. We talked normally, but with the paparazzi around, it became a scoop."
According to Effe, Fedez approached him for a collaboration after the release of his album "Icon" in March 2024. "He asked me to do a featuring. A song for the summer. He was obsessed because we had to go out as a couple. But I already had my summer song and I politely told him no."
The rapper also alluded to a possible flirtation with Ferragni in his diss track "Chiara," singing, "Chiara says she adores me / Says she couldn't wait / Do you like men or women? / You don't have to feel guilty."
Effe explained that the rumors began after a dinner with friends, including Ferragni. "Shortly after, I go to a dinner with a group of friends, including Chiara. We had a good relationship with her. We talked normally, but with the paparazzi around, it became a scoop." He claims Fedez blocked him without explanation, believing the rumors. "Who knows who spread that rumor. He was trying to latch onto my energy, and that's how the whole dissing story started."
