Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have officially finalized their divorce, more than a year after publicly announcing their separation. The news was confirmed on Friday through identical statements shared on their respective Instagram Stories.

"Our divorce has now been finalised," the former couple stated. They expressed pride in their shared accomplishments, emphasizing their continued friendship and commitment to co-parenting their children. The pair also requested continued privacy for their children.

While the specifics of the divorce settlement remain private, the process reportedly unfolded amicably. Cohen, 53, and Fisher, 49, initially revealed their divorce filing in April 2023. Their initial statement likened the end of their relationship to a long tennis match.

According to reports, the couple had been leading separate lives prior to the public announcement. Cohen reportedly consulted with legal representatives in Hollywood in late 2023, although divorce proceedings were filed in London, where the family resides.

Despite any speculation, sources indicated a relatively smooth split, with both parties prioritizing their children. Fisher, in an interview with The Sunday Times, described the divorce as a difficult experience, while highlighting her dedication to co-parenting.

Cohen and Fisher, who married in 2010 after meeting in 2001, share three children. The couple's focus remains on their children's well-being as they navigate this new chapter.
