Kim Turnbull, the ex-girlfriend of Romeo Beckham, has spoken out about their recent breakup and addressed a persistent rumor. The rumor suggested a romantic involvement with Romeo's brother, Brooklyn Beckham.

In an Instagram Story posted on June 16, Turnbull, 24, stated, "I've avoided speaking on this topic to avoid adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on." She added, "I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative."

Turnbull and Romeo, 22, ended their relationship last month after dating for seven months. Without explicitly naming Brooklyn, 26, she refuted the circulating rumor of a relationship with him. "I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question," she wrote.

"Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved," she clarified. Brooklyn has been married to Nicola Peltz Beckham since April 2022.

Tension within the Beckham family is believed to stem from Brooklyn and Nicola's reported disapproval of Turnbull's relationship with Romeo. They reportedly requested a separate gathering with David and Victoria Beckham to celebrate David's 50th birthday, aiming to avoid being in the same room as Romeo and Turnbull.

David and Victoria declined the request, leading to a significant family rift with all communication currently ceased. A source revealed that the family drama contributed to Romeo and Turnbull's breakup. "Romeo and Kim did split because of the family drama," the source explained.

"It was mutual. It was just too much pressure and tension looming over them." The source added that David and Victoria hope the brothers will reconcile soon. "David and Victoria are hopeful the boys will mend things soon," the source said. "They just want their family to be at peace and whole again."
