Hugh Jackman has seemingly moved on with Broadway star Sutton Foster, 16 months after his split from Deborra-Lee Furness. The news comes after Deborra-Lee Furness released a statement seemingly hinting at infidelity playing a part in their divorce.

An insider revealed that Jackman was 'extremely disappointed' by Furness's statement, which spoke of 'betrayal' amid the breakdown of their 27-year marriage. The couple announced their separation in September 2023, initially appearing amicable.

Jackman, 56, was spotted watching Foster, 50, perform in 'Once Upon a Mattress' in Los Angeles just days before the announcement. Foster had also recently filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years, Screenwriter Ted Griffin, in October 2024.

The pair reportedly met while starring in 'The Music Man' on Broadway in 2022. Both have spoken highly of each other, with Foster praising Jackman as 'one of the greatest guys ever' in an interview in June 2024.

Furness's statement, released shortly after filing for divorce, spoke of 'navigating betrayal' and gaining 'knowledge and wisdom' through the breakdown of her marriage. She emphasized the importance of 'returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries.' An insider claims that Jackman felt betrayed by the statement.

Jackman and Furness share two adopted children, Oscar, 25, and Ava, 19. Representatives for both Jackman and Furness have been contacted for comment.
