In a recent interview, Brad Pitt opened up about the lessons he's learned following the legal finalization of his divorce from Angelina Jolie, a process that spanned over eight years. The actor shared his reflections during an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the F1 premiere in Mexico City.
When asked how he maintains focus despite personal setbacks, Pitt acknowledged making mistakes. "It doesn't matter the mistake. You learn from it and move on. That takes you to the next success," said the Fight Club star, who, at 61, sported a new look with a shaved head.
Currently in a relationship with Ines de Ramon, the actor emphasized the importance of surrounding himself with close people. "At this age, I see how important it is to be with the people you know, whom you love and who love you. Friends, family, and nothing more. From there, one can create things. It's a pretty simple equation," Pitt explained.
Pitt's comments came shortly after he broke his silence on the finalization of his divorce from Jolie, 50, with whom he shared twelve years of relationship, including two years of marriage. In a recent interview with GQ, Pitt downplayed the legal resolution. "I don't think it was that important. It was just something that was finalized. Legally," he said.
Angelina Jolie initiated the divorce proceedings in September 2016. The separation included multiple legal and family disputes since then. The final agreement was reached in December 2024. Jolie's lawyer, James Simon, indicated at the time that she and her six children sought to distance themselves to focus on peace and family healing. Additionally, she confirmed that Jolie had permanently waived any right to receive alimony from Pitt.
