Italian Authorities Clean Up Campotosto Lake, Protecting Flora and Fauna

Italian authorities have completed a significant cleanup operation at Campotosto Lake, located within the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. The Guardia Agroforestale, L'Aquila section, removed approximately 20 kilograms of plastic waste from the lake's shoreline. This included old nets, metal sheets, and other construction and household debris. The operation aimed to protect the local flora, fauna, and the environment.
