ESA Offers Space Systems Engineering Training Course for University Students in 2025

Edited by: Olga Samsonova

The ESA Education Office is organizing a Space Systems Engineering Training Course for university students. This course will take place from October 7 to 10, 2025, at ESA Academy's Training and Learning Facility (TLF) in Belgium.

The course aims to equip 30 highly motivated students with essential skills in space systems engineering. This field is crucial for the space industry, from small CubeSats to complex scientific satellites. Space systems engineers are key figures in the success of any space mission.

Space systems engineers manage the technical aspects of space projects. They define user needs, establish requirements, and shape the design and architecture. These engineers oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to operation. They ensure projects meet requirements and manage the interfaces between different project disciplines.
