Škoda Launches Production of All-Electric Elroq SUV in Mladá Boleslav

Škoda Auto has commenced production of its all-electric Elroq compact SUV at its main facility in Mladá Boleslav. This model is produced alongside the new Škoda Enyaq and Octavia.

The Elroq utilizes the MEB platform, sharing it with the Enyaq, which was among the top-selling electric vehicles in Europe last year. The production line is now capable of producing up to 600 Elroqs daily, following a strategic shift that moved some Octavia production to the Kvasiny plant.

The Mladá Boleslav factory also manufactures battery systems for these vehicles, reaching a milestone of one million battery systems produced. The Elroq is the brand's first all-electric model in the competitive compact SUV category, featuring a starting price of €34,500, making it one of the most affordable options in its segment.

Available with three battery sizes, the Elroq offers power outputs ranging from 170PS to 286PS, with a maximum battery capacity of 82 kWh, providing a range of up to 581 km. Fast charging from 10% to 80% is achievable in just 25-28 minutes, depending on the battery selected.
