The Maroc Premium Foundation has announced the 6th edition of the Casablanca International Biennale of Contemporary Art, scheduled to take place from December 11, 2025, to January 10, 2026. The upcoming biennale, themed "Making the Impossible," aims to explore artistic innovation in the face of contemporary challenges.
Curated by international exhibition curator Marisa Caichiolo, the biennale will examine the ability of art to transcend the constraints of our time. The event seeks to explore the idea of renewal, the unexpected, and the miraculous, as Hannah Arendt noted, "the new always appears as a miracle."
A call for projects has been launched from February 10 to March 15, 2025, inviting artists worldwide to submit their works that resonate with the theme of this 6th edition. The selected works, both Moroccan and international, will present original creations exhibited in several emblematic locations in Casablanca, offering visitors a unique immersive experience.
The Casablanca International Biennale positions itself as a crossroads of intercultural dialogues, highlighting the creativity, resilience, and diversity of contemporary artistic expressions. Starting December 11, 2025, the public will be invited to discover works that resonate with our time and offer new perspectives on the role art can play in the face of the world's uncertainties and changes.
