Smokey Robinson Set to Headline Love Supreme Jazz Festival in Sussex

Smokey Robinson, known as the 'King of Motown,' is set to perform at Sussex's premier jazz festival, Love Supreme, which will take place from July 4 to 6 at Glynde Place near Lewes.

This marks Robinson's first performance in the UK in over 15 years, adding to the excitement surrounding the festival.

As a Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee since 1987, Robinson is celebrated as one of the most influential figures in music history. He was the frontman and songwriter for Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, responsible for timeless hits such as 'Tears of a Clown' and 'I Second That Emotion.'

Early bird tickets for the festival start at £72 and can be purchased from the official website.

In addition to his work with The Miracles, Robinson has enjoyed a successful solo career, releasing hits like 'Being With You' and 'Cruisin'.' Over his six-decade career, he has also penned numerous hits for iconic artists including the Temptations and Marvin Gaye.

Earlier this year, Maxwell was announced as the first headliner for Love Supreme, setting the stage for an exciting lineup.
