Google is enhancing the user experience for tablets and foldable devices through a new Google Play Store interface.
The update introduces a fifth tab in the navigation bar—Games, Apps, Search, Books, and Kids—while removing the top search bar.
This design underutilizes screen space and implements a two-touch search system, which has already faced criticism on smartphones.
The updated interface is rolling out and will be available to all users shortly.
