Audi Unveils E Concept to Launch New Chinese-Only Sub-Brand

Audi has introduced the E Concept, marking the launch of its new sub-brand 'AUDI' exclusively for the Chinese market.

In collaboration with SAIC Motor, Audi aims to tailor its designs and technologies to meet specific demands in China.

The E Concept boasts a 100kWh battery and dual electric motors, delivering 764bhp and 800Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and a range of up to 700 km on a single charge.

Equipped with an 800V architecture, it supports rapid charging, providing 230 miles of range in just 10 minutes.

Designed with a minimalist aesthetic, the E Concept features a spacious interior with a full-width digital display and innovative camera door mirrors.

Gernot Dollner, Audi CEO, stated that this platform will facilitate a new generation of connected vehicles aimed at a demanding customer segment in China.

As a concept vehicle, further details on pricing and specifications will follow with the production model.
