Director Anees Bazmee disclosed in a recent interview that even the cast, including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, and Madhuri Dixit, are unaware of the film's conclusion. Bazmee stated, "People will be shocked, they'll be like 'oh my god!' We have tried to make a good and beautiful film." To maintain suspense, he filmed two different climaxes, leaving the production team in the dark about which one will be used.
