CHALFONT ST PETER, England—RWS Holdings plc has announced the appointment of Benjamin Faes as Chief Executive Officer and Director effective immediately. Faes brings over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and leadership roles across technology and media sectors.
Previously, Faes served as Managing Director for Google Cloud in Southern Europe and Emerging Markets, after pioneering YouTube monetization across Europe while at Alphabet. He has also held leadership positions at AOL and Webhelp.
In a statement, Faes expressed pride in joining RWS during a transformative period, emphasizing the company's focus on growth opportunities and technological advancements.
RWS Chairman, Julie Southern, highlighted Faes’s international experience as vital for expanding the company’s AI-driven services. Former CEO Ian El-Mokadem will assist in the transition until January 2025.
