BRI Collaborates with KAI for QRIS Payment System

Jakarta - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has partnered with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and PT Reska Multi Usaha to implement the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) payment system at Resto on Train and Loko Café.

This initiative aims to provide a practical and secure digital transaction experience for customers during train journeys and at station areas, while also supporting the transformation towards digital services.

Agus Noorsanto, Director of Wholesale and Institution Business at BRI, stated that this collaboration aligns with BRI's strategic vision to accelerate financial digitalization across various sectors.

The QRIS implementation at Resto on Train and Loko Café represents a collaboration among state-owned enterprises to deliver innovative solutions that meet public needs. With BRI's technological support and network, a more efficient, comfortable, and secure payment system is being introduced for KAI customers.

The collaboration ceremony took place on December 23, 2024, at Loko Café in Gambir Station, coinciding with the official launch of Loko Café at multiple stations, including KCIC Halim, Gambir, Senen, and Purwokerto. At these new outlets, BRI offers a cashback promotion of Rp29,000 for transactions of at least Rp100,000.

Customers can pay for food and beverages using the BRImo super app for a seamless digital transaction experience. The QRIS system is applicable on over 200 trains serving various KAI routes and at 20 Loko Café outlets across different stations.

BRI is also providing a cashback of up to 50% for food and beverage purchases at Resto on Train using BRImo with a minimum transaction of Rp100,000.

Agus emphasized that BRI continues to deliver solutions that connect public needs with innovative technology, reinforcing its commitment to ease transactions, expand digital service reach, and enhance customer convenience in financial activities.

Ririn Widi Astutik, Acting President Director of KAI Services, reaffirmed KAI Services' commitment to providing innovative and superior services, expressing hope that this new facility will enhance customer service quality.
