Qualcomm Incorporated has introduced the Qualcomm Artificial Intelligence (AI) Program for Innovators (QAIPI) 2025 in the Asia-Pacific region, specifically targeting developers and startups in Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. This initiative aims to foster the development of advanced on-device AI solutions across mobile, compute, and Internet of Things (IoT) sectors.

The QAIPI program offers participants exclusive resources, mentorship, and training to facilitate the creation of end-to-end AI applications utilizing Qualcomm's cutting-edge technologies and the Qualcomm AI Hub ecosystem. This hub allows developers to optimize AI models, analyze performance metrics, and deploy these models seamlessly across various domains, including personalized mobile experiences and real-time IoT solutions.

Applications for QAIPI 2025 are open until April 15, 2025, and the program consists of two phases. The first phase focuses on edge-AI model development using the Qualcomm AI Hub, while the second phase, running from May to October 2025, supports selected startups with comprehensive use case development on Qualcomm hardware.

Participants will receive various incentives, including online training, digital badges, and for those selected in Phase 2, a $5,000 stipend and up to $5,000 for patent filing. Shortlisted startups will have the opportunity to showcase their innovations during a virtual Demo Day in Q4 2025.

This initiative highlights Qualcomm's commitment to enhancing the AI ecosystem in APAC and empowering innovators to transform industries through on-device AI solutions. The company is also focusing on energy-efficient, scalable innovations that meet both regional and global needs, positioning itself to capitalize on the growing demand driven by the rollout of 5G technology and the transition to a connected processor company.
