Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust Reaches $4 Billion AUM in Six Months

Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust has achieved $4 billion in assets under management (AUM) within six months of its launch, the company announced on X, formerly known as Twitter. This milestone was reached on October 29, 2024.

Grayscale launched the Mini Trust in July 2024, separating it from its older and costlier Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). The Mini Trust charges a lower management fee of 0.15%, making it one of the most competitive spot cryptocurrency ETFs in the market.

The launch of spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs earlier this year sparked a fee war among fund issuers, with many offering temporary fee waivers or discounts. Grayscale's Mini Trust, however, has maintained its low fee structure, attracting significant investor interest.

Grayscale's success with the Mini Trust reflects the growing demand for low-cost, accessible investment products in the cryptocurrency market. The company is also expanding its product suite, with plans to launch ETFs for other cryptocurrencies in 2025.
