India-Afghanistan Relations to be Discussed at UNSC Meeting on October 2024

India has informed the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) that it has engaged in discussions on various issues with the Taliban administration. Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj stated at a UNSC meeting on the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) that Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met with Afghanistan's acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi in Dubai earlier this year. The UNSC meeting will be held in October 2024.
