Following Israeli strikes on Iran, which targeted 100 locations including nuclear and military sites, world leaders have called for de-escalation. The attacks reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least 20 senior Iranian commanders.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated Iran would make Israel "regret" the attack. He vowed a response to the strikes.
The United States, through former President Donald Trump, stated Iran should not have a nuclear bomb. The UN, Russia, China, EU, France, Germany, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Turkiye, UK, and Yemen's Huthis have also issued statements.
