President Trump Diagnosed with Chronic Venous Insufficiency

Edited by: S Света

President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition where veins in the legs have difficulty returning blood to the heart, leading to blood pooling and swelling. The White House announced this diagnosis after Trump reported mild swelling in his lower legs. Comprehensive medical evaluations, including vascular studies and ultrasounds, confirmed the condition. Importantly, tests ruled out deep vein thrombosis and arterial disease, and an echocardiogram showed normal cardiac structure and function. The President remains in excellent health and is not experiencing discomfort from the condition. CVI is common in individuals over 70 and is typically managed with lifestyle changes such as exercise, leg elevation, and the use of compression stockings. There is no evidence to suggest that this condition affects the President's ability to perform his duties.
