Edited by: Anna 🌎 Krasko

IndiGo, India's largest budget airline, is launching new long-haul flight routes. These routes will connect India with destinations like London, Athens, Amsterdam, Manchester, and Siem Reap. This expansion marks a strategic move to offer affordable international travel options.

The airline plans to increase its international network from 40 to 50 destinations by the end of the financial year. IndiGo is also venturing into Central Asia, adding four new cities to its network. This expansion utilizes Boeing 787-9 aircraft to ensure efficiency.

The Mumbai-Manchester route is particularly significant. It establishes IndiGo's presence in a market traditionally dominated by legacy carriers. This move signifies IndiGo's transition from a regional airline to a global player, democratizing international travel for Indian travelers.
