Honda has introduced the N-One e:, a compact electric vehicle (EV) designed to redefine urban mobility. This model combines modern electric technology with a design reminiscent of Honda's classic kei cars, offering a blend of functionality and nostalgic appeal.
The N-One e: is powered by a single electric motor, delivering 63 horsepower, making it well-suited for city driving. Its design emphasizes simplicity and practicality, featuring physical buttons and a rotary volume dial for ease of use. The interior includes a 50:50 split-folding rear seat configuration, enhancing its adaptability to various needs.
One of the standout features of the N-One e: is its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability. This allows the vehicle to supply power to external devices, such as electric bikes or laptops, providing a versatile power source beyond transportation. To utilize this feature, owners can purchase an adapter from Honda's accessory catalog. Additionally, a charging indication light module is available, enabling users to monitor the battery charge level from outside the vehicle, even when it is locked.
Honda has announced that sales of the N-One e: will commence in Japan this September. The vehicle is also set to make its European debut at the IAA event in Munich during the same month. While there are currently no plans for a U.S. launch, the N-One e: represents Honda's commitment to advancing electric mobility solutions tailored to urban environments.
