Edited by: gaya ❤️ one

Gilmour Space Technologies is preparing for the first orbital rocket launch from Australia with the Eris-1 rocket, scheduled for July 2, 2025, from the Bowen Orbital Spaceport in Queensland.

The 25-meter-tall Eris-1, designed by Adam and James Gilmour, is designed to carry up to 215 kilograms into a sun-synchronous orbit. Previous attempts were delayed due to technical issues and weather conditions, including a tropical storm and a payload fairing problem.

The mission, known as TestFlight1, will test the rocket's capabilities and gather data for future development. Updates will be provided via social media. The success of the Eris-1 mission is expected to establish Australia as a key player in the global space sector.
