Australia And India Deepen Cooperation In Key Sectors

Edited by: Татьяна Гуринович

In 2025, Australia and India have significantly enhanced their economic and defense cooperation. This collaboration focuses on critical minerals, renewable energy, and defense technologies.

Australia is a key supplier of critical minerals for India's green energy infrastructure. They are also collaborating on renewable energy initiatives, including solar manufacturing and green hydrogen projects.

The two countries are exploring partnerships in defense and aerospace. Negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) are ongoing to deepen trade and investment ties. The recent Quad alliance meeting, hosted by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, highlighted these efforts.
