Innovative Wireless Energy Transmission Technology Demonstrated in Kashmir

09:03, 08 January

Edited by: Anna 🌎 Krasko

On January 8, 2025, INFRGY LLC showcased a groundbreaking technology that converts radio frequency (RF) into electricity, offering a new solution for wireless charging and powering electronic devices without physical connections. The demonstration took place at the Institute of Technology, University of Kashmir.

Over-unity System

Co-founder Parvez Rishi explained that the technology, referred to as an over-unity system, claims to generate more energy than it consumes by harnessing energy from the environment. This system allows devices such as smartphones and tablets to charge automatically without being plugged in or placed on a charging pad.

The innovative concept impressed attendees during the demonstration, highlighting its practical, safe, and flexible nature. Rishi noted that existing technologies using lasers, microwaves, or infrared light have limitations in range and efficiency, making INFRGY’s wireless system a more viable option.

Rishi emphasized that this technology enables energy delivery to multiple devices simultaneously, even in the presence of obstacles like walls or furniture. He also referenced Nikola Tesla's early concepts of wireless energy transmission, stating that INFRGY is taking the next step to realize Tesla's vision of a world where power could be transmitted wirelessly over long distances.
