The ASEAN Community Vision 2045, also known as "ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future", aims to establish a resilient, innovative, dynamic, prosperous, and people-centered ASEAN. Malaysia's chairmanship for 2025 emphasizes 'Inclusivity and Sustainability', ensuring ASEAN's central role in peace, stability, and sustainable growth amidst global challenges.
The Kuala Lumpur Declaration includes strategic plans for political-security, economic, socio-cultural, and connectivity. It focuses on deeper regional integration, stronger institutions, and inclusive growth, highlighting sustainable infrastructure, digital systems, and smart cities.
