Venezuela holds indigenous parliamentary elections in nine states

Venezuela held parliamentary elections for indigenous representatives on June 1, 2025. The election took place in nine states with indigenous populations, including Amazonas, Anzoátegui, and the newly created Guayana Esequiba. A total of 95 voting centers were set up across 77 municipalities.
